Annotation
Collection composed of 12 sonatas for solo violin and basso continuo. Sonatas II and VI offer an alternative for flute and basso continuo.
It was initially published in 1723, with additional prints in 1738, (date unknown), 1743.
In 1748, a new edition was made, which reused partially some engraving plates from the first edition. The new plates were generally more condensed, which enabled to reduce the number of pages to 75 (from 81 in the first edition). This second edition includes a catalog of Leclair's work until the opus 12.
