Annotation
Notes from the artist:
In "Ode to ☣" the replacement character is an outline drawing of a Modena pigeon. It's a sort of rebus pun on the band name Hazmat Modine.
The variant of the 𱁬 character used in the titles of a couple tracks should be "taito" (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Taito_2.svg) rather than "daito" which is encoded in Unicode. If "taito" is later encoded separately, it should be updated.
My desire/ArtistIntent is that track titles be written as they are in the ID3 tags when present, and as they are in the filenames when the files aren't tagged, with a couple exceptions where the ID3 & filenames are due to technical limitations: "AQUA#_" should be "AQUA#:"; Unicode replacement characters are serving their usual function and aren't part of track titles; and the track ID3 tagged as "8 〖Remix 𝑜̲𝑓̲ 2〗" I'm just entering here as "8 〖Remix of 2〗" because the "𝑜̲𝑓̲" was just a hack to fake the intended text styling - I consider the superscript, italicization, and underlining of the word "of" in that track's title to be an integral part of the title, but it can't be represented in Unicode plain text.
I'm not sure whether the ID3 tag of "Something in Three Movements for Piano Solo: Third Movement — Allegro" was an error, or if the artwork of Syncopated Motion & Flautrock (which both have it as "Something in Three Movements for Piano Solo: Third Movement — Mostly Allegro") was in error. I've deferred to the ID3 tag for this track listing, without editing the recording title or those other albums' track listings.
Tracks 3 ("AQUA2: Door In Time"), 5 through 11 ("AQUA5: Birds", etc.), and 13 through 17 all credit "Artemis Dragonflame" as the artist in the ID3 tags, while the directory structure credits "futuramerlin" as the artist. (I suspect that perhaps the track-level artist credits on https://musicbrainz.org/release/5fac1695-bf1a-4f2e-8abf-9447285cf45e should be changed, but I'll wait until I'm working on that actual CD to change them.)
"various aliases credited" is just a description, not the actual artist credit.
The files are in folders on the DVD, sorted by artist alias and album. Look for "Part2-tree-fi.csv" in this link for a listing of the folder names.
Track 18, "new", is a Sibelius score. "AQUA3: jump!" (from https://musicbrainz.org/release/5fac1695-bf1a-4f2e-8abf-9447285cf45e) is missing.
When "tracksets" are available (MBS-11236, MBS-6680) the folders could be represented as tracksets.
20206 is a "release ID", retroactively assigned to this release on 19 February 2025.
It's a data DVD. In the top level are folders by artist alias, then the next level of folders are releases, in which are the track files. The order of the top level folders isn't clear, since they're not numbered. However Mac OS sorted them in 2010 is probably how they were meant to be sorted.
An artist isn't credited for the DVD as a whole, only for albums within the DVD.
