(post)modern gothic

i promised myself i wouldn't release a record with gothic/dark electro music unless i found a way to make this genre sound distinctively "mine". it took me three years but here it finally is - my, hopefully interesting and enjoyable, take on this genre!

there are a couple of funny things happening here - none of these songs are 'new', some of them have been waiting for a proper moment for a long time now. for example, the last track ("apocalypse, right now") is the seventh track i made when i started working on electronic music three years ago and it was sitting on my hard drive ever since. so, when i finally got all of those tracks together, i decided to include it as a testament to where i started - and i decided not to change a single thing in its arrangement and composition (except for the mix).
