bisernica (prim, small Serbo-Croatian plucked string instrument)
~ String instrument
Description
Smallest member of the Serbo-Croatian tamburica orchestra, it is usually the lead or "prim" instrument. It can either have one double string and three single strings (prim/bisernica) or two double strings and two single strings (bisernica).
Annotation
Note that wikipedia is incorrect about an alternate name being "samica" that is a related but different instrument, a predecessor not used in the tamburtiza orchestra, but rather as a standalone folk instrument.
