Annotation
The track "Erwache!" is party inspired by the Second Merseburg Charm, the second of two medieval magic spells, charms or incantations, written in Old High German. The middle part of the song features a recitation of the original text, in which the god Wodan intones the incantation "bone to bone, blood to blood, limb to limb, as if they were mended", to induce healing in the foot of Balder's horse.
