Annotation

Divasonic independently released limited copies of her debut album, "Birth" - a concoction of genre crossing beats mixed with ethereal vocals and catchy lyrical style. Divasonic uses her flute and piano chops throughout the album to embellish the layers of synths and effects.

Lynda Arnold completed most of the programming, arrangements, songwriting, vocals, flute and keyboards on the songs for "Birth". The album was further mixed, recorded, enhanced, and programmed by EMI Germany producer Safar Bake.

The "Birth" album is featured on Urbnet.com, as an Editor's Pick on Download.com, on MI2N.com as a Best of the Batch pick and has received rave reviews from music enthusiasts and online music reviewers. "The Other Side" was an Editor's Pick on Download.com in April 2004.

"Lynda Arnold is Divasonic, an independent artist who writes, plays, sings, programs and co-produces her own music, which is best described as a unique balance of spiritual and ethereal trip-hop. At times her style is reminiscent of groups like Lamb ("Candy Store") or Poe ("Calm Of The One"), but Arnold's frequent flute injections and subtle drum & bass loops keep her in a league of her own. Highlights include the frantically paced "The Other Side" and masterful instrumental "Escape", while "Calling The Fairy" proves to be a schizophrenic drill-n-bass workout. Consider yourself a "Lucky Star" if you stick around for Birth's unlisted bonus track, Divasonic's Tori Amos-like cover of the Material Girl's classic pop hit."
