Uzelli

Uzelli Music is a Turkish music company founded in 1974 by Muammer Uzelli in Frankfurt to serve the Turkish music industry in the fields of distributorship, production and sales.

To meet demands of the market, soon after its opening, Uzelli established Turkey’s first integrated cassette factory in 1977, becoming one of the biggest Turkish producers of popular music on cassettes. In the 80s and 90s, Uzelli became the Turkish distributor for Sony Music (then CBS/Columbia). In 1994, Uzelli modernized their retail approach by initiating a chain of music and book stores and became a pioneer in yet another field in the industry until 2007.
