Caber

Set up in the late 1990s to promote the work of Scottish jazz artists, and initially releasing CDs by duplication on CD-R media, Caber Music received a substantial grant from the Scottish Arts Council and the National Lottery in 1998 and traded successfully up to the early part of 2004. Overall, around 30 CDs were released, including four compilations. The principal figure at Caber Music was Tom Bancroft, well known in the southern Scotland jazz scene as a drummer and percussionist.

Not to be confused with Caber Records, a label specialising in highland bagpipe music.
