The single from this album, "New Americana" has lyrics that give a sense of unity to the new generation while the world's morals and views change to be more open. The beat in most of this album would cater to audiences who typically enjoy music from the popular genre. It tends to be consistently upbeat with the exception of several songs. Clearly, the artist expresses herself freely in this album, which is why I believe it gives off an empowering tone. Overall, this album begins and ends strong.
